Overseas EMS evening – with free pizza!

Are you thinking of doing EMS abroad?

The International Veterinary Students Association (IVSA) at the RVC will be hosting an Overseas EMS Evening on Tuesday the 8th of March at 6 pm in the New Lecture Theatre (Hawkshead).

Speakers include:

– Katriina Willgert (IVSA) – An introduction to the International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA)
– Jane Tomlin (RVC) – RVC requirements for EMS overseas
– Jenny Maud (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations/European Commission) – EMS overseas: how to arrange it
– Sean Wensley (BVA president) – Overseas Veterinary Work: BVA support
– Nick Short (RVC) and Dr Gabriel Turasha (VetAid, Kenya) – EMS in East Africa: working with Vetaid vets in the Masai Mara
– Lily Wilson (BVetMed student) – Hints and tips on overseas EMS placements – a student’s perspective

There will be an opportunity for mingling, questions and pizza at the end.
